The Three Bears Sort of has taken this year's New Zealand Post Children's Choice Award. A hearty congratulations to author Yvonne Morrison and illustrator Donovan Bixley, as well as the authors and illustrators of Scholastic's four other finalist titles.
This year Scholastic has three LIANZA Award finalists. Two titles are in the running for the Esther Glen Award for Junior Fiction: A Winter's Day in 1939 (Melinda Szymanik) and Project Huia (Des Hunt).
