A Scholastic Book Fair is a special event that enables parents and children to purchase quality books at reasonable prices, helping their school raise funds for special projects, classroom materials, and library books. Fairs are conducted at preschool, primary, and intermediate schools, under the direction of the librarian, teachers, or PTA.
The Book Fair comes complete in easy-to-move bookcases or prepacked cartons. There are seasonal and timely table assortments, table signs, displays, table covers, and a planning kit box full of promotional materials.
There is no out-of-pocket expense to conduct a Scholastic Book Fair. Your Fair is delivered free to your school, and picked up again when it's over. You'll complete a financial form at the end of your Fair and return it to Scholastic.
