Down in a gully on a farm far away,
a clan of kiwi put on a dance display, invited friends to join, one sunny day,
to do the Hokey Tokey, and here’s how to play . . .
New Zealand animals of all shapes and sizes come together to do the Kiwi Hokey Tokey.
“Stevie Mahardhika’s illustrations are beautiful and they get funnier as you go through the book. I love how each of the animals pretends to be a different animal (the kiwi and pukeko trying to dive like a dolphin and flap their flippers like a seal are absolutely hilarious!)” — Bestfriendsrbooks
“Mahardhika captures the humour in his lively illustrations and there is lots of potential for actions that children will enjoy performing as they sing along.” — The Children’s Bookshop Newsletter
“The colour illustrations by Stevie Mahardhika […] are cheerful fun, with various animals gathering to perform the appropriate actions on each double-page spread.” – The Source
